JKN Chris joined Kuk Sool Won™ in 2002 at one of the most respected Kuk Sool Won™ schools (Kuk Sool Won™ Of Clear Lake in Texas) under the watchful eye of 9th Degree black belt Master Barry Harmon and the highest ranking female in Kuk Sool; Master Choon Ok Harmon. He continued his training when he moved to Scotland at Kuk Sool Won™ of Aberdeen with KSN (2nd degree black belt) Chris Bird, gaining his black belt in 2006.
JKN Chris believes that Kuk Sool Won™ is one of the best Martial Arts because of its focus on the complete development of the individual (body, mind and "heart") of almost any physical ability (or to put it another way; you are never to old to benefit from the training that Kuk Sool Won has to offer).

JKN Sophia joined Kuk Sool Won™ 2001. She just happened to be walking one day near where she lived in Houston Texas, and saw black uniformed martial artists practicing outside their school and decided to give it ago. She quickly became enthused by the dedication and the discipline of Master Harmon's school. JKN Sophia has stayed trued to the spirit of this teaching where ever she goes. Sophia gained her black belt in 2006 and has interests in healing. She has studied shiatsu (Japanese healing finger pressure massage) for one year and had 1st level Reiki training (Energy Healing).
